I give myself a F for the last few months! I am not sure where the time has gone. I will (try) to be better about updating. We had a great Christmas with Mike's family in Fullerton. Colt did not get one present! Ha ha, he was WAY too spoiled. He really enjoyed Christmas this year as he discovered Santa! He still talks about him and it is February! His favorite movie around Christmas was The Polar Express, he was scared of it at first but I think we watched it daily there for awhile. He also was in love with Rudolph! We took him to Build-A-Bear and he picked out a Rudolph that he sleeps with every night. He also got a John Deere Gator, not to be confused with a Gator. He will correct you if just say Gator, as it is to be referred to as a John Deere Gator. He was not too happy to discover that it didn't go in the snow very well, and we have had A LOT of snow.
Colt likes to play in snow, definitely more than I do. That is about all I can say about January, it was filled with snow, oh and stitches. Colt fell at daycare and cut his face by his eye. I was so proud of him for being so brave. Not one tear during the stitches. After they were finished they gave him a Popsicle and he was fine. He also got to play with some Thomas trains while we were there. We were very fortunate to have a great co-worker to help him. I guess it's one of the perks of working at a Children's Hospital.
Now on to February. Colt and I went with Mike the other night to watch him practice. Every time Mike went in the box Colt would scream, "Hi Daddy!" And then when the steer would run, "Get that one Daddy, get it." Everyone there could hear him, it was precious. On the way home he found an extra pair of undies and put them on his head. He said, "Look at me, look at me, I am Coltster-undie!" It was so funny. We took him to a Farm show today and he was in Heaven! He wanted to sit on EVERY tractor. He point one out and would say, "I haven't sat in that one for a long, long time." And then repeat with the next one. Needless to say I had to DRAG him out of there. I think that Mike had just as much fun. We can't wait to see what March has to bring, hopefully you won't have to wait until July to find out!
