September!

This is WAY past due!  I have been a little busy with a 15 month old who still doesn't sleep and a kindergartner!  Lots of changes have been going on around here.  Colt graduated preschool. Harley turned 1!!!!  She was sick the day of her party but still managed to eat a few bites of cake.  That was really the first time she had gotten sick, a little different from her big brother.  We didn't really take a vacation this summer.  We were kind of afraid to go anywhere.  Harley Grace screams when we go 10 minutes to the grocery store!  Hopefully she is growing out of that soon!

Colt started kindergarten this month.  He only goes in the afternoons but the bus picks him up at 10:45 and he gets home at 3:30 so it feels like all day to me.  I still have a hard time believing it.  He rides the bus both ways and loves it!  I am really proud of him.  The only tears on the first day were from me!  We had our family pics taken when Harley turned one and I love them.  It really is getting harder and harder to convince Mike to take family pics.  Some day I will be taking them myself!  Harley loved the camera!  If only she would ham it up for me!

Hopefully I can be better about keeping this up!  Some one needs to teach Harley how to nap!

January, February, March

We are finally digging out of winter here in MN.  Although we are waiting on our last (hopefully) snow storm to arrive.  Colt has enjoyed the snow although maybe not the -30 degree wind chills that were quite frequent this winter.  Colt has been busy with preschool and having friends over to play as much as I will let him!  He is still in love with Dodger and does pretty good with taking care of him.

Harley has been busy getting into EVERYTHING!!!!!  She army crawls very well and is very fast.  She hasn't figured out how to get her belly off the ground and I'm not sure she will!  She wants whatever Colt has or whatever she can't have.  Her toys are not of much interest lately as you can see from the photos.  Last week I caught her eating dog food and today I had to fish a lady bug out of her mouth.  She keeps us on our toes.  She finally decided to sleep through the night last month and we all are much happier around here.

We spent a quiet Valentine's Day with the kids.  Mike gave Harley a rose because he wanted to be the first boy to give her a flower!  It was so sweet!  Colt then was sad because he didn't get one.  I then got 11 roses and Colt got one! What a great Dad!

We stayed home for Easter and enjoyed the Easter Bunny stopping by.  He left the kids plenty of eggs outside.  Colt got the most eggs at the Easter Egg Hunt at church, he had a blast.  We planned on going to another hunt and to meet the Easter Bunny however with the bad weather it was cancelled.  Colt enjoyed dieing eggs again this year.  There were packets of glitter that came with the kit we bought and when we finished with the eggs Colt dumped glitter all over his pants.  He told me he wanted them to be "glittery!"

Rodeos start this weekend and I'm not sure who is more excited, Mike or Colt!
