October, November, and Half of December!

I realize that I am WAY behind!  I blame Harley!  Harley decided that she didn't want to sleep, EVER, day or night.  She didn't want to miss out on anything.  We have been a little tired around here (well I have) so I have fallen way behind.  However, after about a week of some tough love (cry it out) we now have a 6 month old who takes three naps a day.  She still gets up at least twice a night but I feel like we are making progress.  So I am attempting to put things back together and dig out of my mess.  A lot has been happened since my last post.  Halloween, Colt's birthday, Thanksgiving, and now the holiday season.

Halloween was fun.  Peter Pan and Tinkerbell seemed to enjoy it.  Mostly Peter Pan, Tinkerbell slept in her stroller mostly.  We went to town and went trick or treating with some friends.  It was a nice night and not too cold.  We weren't sure what to expect.

Colt turned 5 years old on November 12th.  He talked me into having a 9 kids over for his party.  This was his first kid party and he had a ball.  It was a pirate themed party complete with a pirate ship cake.  I have to say I was up pretty late the night before finishing the cake. We did a treasure hunt, pinata, games, and of course cake and ice cream.  It really was a good time.

Harley took her first plane ride for Thanksgiving.  She did great!  Not one peep.  It really was a great flight.  We had lots of fun in NE.  Colt played non stop with all of his cousins and was sad to have to leave them, as were we.

We got our first big snow storm in MN with a whopping 16".  Colt LOVED it!  There was only a late start for school which is completely different from MO.  MO would cancel school if they even thought it was going to snow.  It hasn't melted yet and I'm afraid it's not going to.  We have had a couple of pretty cold nights but I know it can and probably will get lots colder.
