Cousin Lily!

Lily Shae Stull was born July 15th, 2008 at 3:27pm weighing 8 lbs 10 oz and 20.5 inches long. We can't wait to meet her. Isn't she precious?

Yeah for tubes!

Driving in the car on the way to Bridgeport for the 4th of July!

Colt playing before surgery. He really liked it when Amy (Child Life Specialist) blew bubbles so that he could pop them!

Colt and Daddy resting at home after surgery. Everything went great with Colt's surgery this morning. He was the first patient so we were in and out. The ENT surgeon said that there was a lot of fluid and puss in both ears. We are so glad that it is done and hopefully he will be feeling better soon. He was pretty cranky coming out of recovery but crashed as soon as we put him the car. Thanks to everyone for checking on him.

Big Boy!

Colt is almost crawling! He wants to so bad, but he just can't quite figure it out. He has figured out how to pivot around to get where he wants to go, but can't quite get his tummy up off the ground. It won't be long!

He is getting tubes on July 22nd, at Children's Mercy Hospital, (where I work). His Pediatrician put him on a suppressive dose of antibiotic after yet another ear infection. He will be on this until surgery. Hopefully this will prevent him from getting another one.

His top teeth are just about to come in. They have been bothering him the last few days. We will be glad when they finally come all the way through. He has been trying lots of new foods and basically like everything except green beans and peas.

We are traveling to Bridgeport for the 4th so we will have lots of pictures. We hope to make it in time to watch Uncle Jeff in the slack on Thursday afternoon. This will be Colt's first rodeo! He is all set with boots, Wranglers, and a pearl snap shirt!

Finally!

I am finally updating! Our camera broke and it took forever for us to get a new one.

Colt is getting to be so much fun! He has two teeth on the bottom. He is eating baby food like a big boy now, liking most everything that he tries. He has been having lots of problems with ear infections so he has an appointment with an ENT on Monday. I am guessing we are headed toward tubes, I will keep you all posted. He is sitting up so well and loves to go shopping and sit in the front of the shopping cart. He was so lucky to have Geema come and babysit him last week, he had so much fun and loved having her here.

Colt is learning to sit up and doing very well. He gets excited playing with his toys and then looses his balance! It is so fun to watch him. He has also found his feet and now tries to eat them and everything else that he can get to his mouth. He will be 6 months next week and will begin baby food. I am sure that he will love it. At his last appointment he weighed 19.4 lbs so we are shopping for a new car seat. I will post all of his stats next week!

Colt went to Lincoln this last weekend to meet his "Uncle" Nate and "Aunt" Kristyn. He immediately loved both of them! They went with us to the UNL rodeo. Colt had a wonderful time. We also got to see his Great Aunt Kathy. We all had a great time at her house, she is such a wonderful host! Colt didn't want to leave. He can't wait to go back and swim in her new pool this summer.
Colt is getting bigger every day. He is now almost 19 lbs! He seems to tower over his friends at daycare. He is such a happy baby, smiling all the time. He is getting better about napping in his crib, thank goodness. He has his 6 month check in a few weeks, it is so hard to believe.

5 Months Old

Colt has had a lot going on this last month. We celebrated Easter in Fullerton with Mike's family and had a wonderful time. Colt was also baptized on April 6th in Fullerton. We had lots of family come to help us celebrate and we are so grateful that they all made the long drive to see us. Colt had a great time watching all of his cousins run around and shortly he will be joining them.
He again has a cold and also has hand, foot, mouth which he got from one of his friends at day care! He has a bad rash all over his hands, feed and mouth. We are hoping he will get over this quickly. It is never boring at our house.
Colt went to his first USTRC roping in Topeka, KS! He had a great time watching Daddy rope. He has been trying to talk him into getting him a pony!
He is over 18 1/2 pounds and growing more every day. Soon he will need a bigger car seat. His Doctor told me last week that most babies don't hit that mark until they are at least 8 months! I guess Colt is ahead of the pack! His favorite things to do now are drool, put everything in his mouth, stick his tongue out, and blow raspberries! He is so cute!
