We have been having lots fun enjoy the last of summer. We had lots of fun in Fullerton at Grandma Rhonda's house. We also got to ride on a train and eat hot dogs (a perfect day in Colt's world). We are enjoying Rony Pony and will have even more fun when we get the saddle. Colt loves leading her around. Colt has learned the phrase "Maybe for my Birthday?" when we are shopping. He has now asked for nearly everything for his birthday. He has also learned how to lock doors. He wants to go to the bathroom all by himself and if I am not quick he is in there with the doors locked. I am not sure what I am going to do about that one.

We had a great trip to NE (minus the plane ride home)! Colt couldn't get enough of all of his cousins. We had a blast at the pool party that Papa and Grandma Pam threw for the grandkids. Colt had his first taste of homemade ice cream thanks to Papa, and he loved it of course. He got to ride with Grandpa Mo in the tractor and scoop rocks! He didn't want to stop. He loved checking the cows and riding the four wheeler too. It has been so hot here that we aren't able to play outside like we would like to. We have been keeping busy lining up the trains and tractor though.

Summer is off to a great start for the Richardson's. We have been to a couple of rodeos and to see Thomas the Tank Engine. Colt LOVED both. We had a great time traveling to OK with Uncle Jeff. Colt really like staying in the trailer. He also had a good time seeing and riding Thomas. He was a little confused why Thomas didn't talk though. I have more Thomas pics but I need to find them.

We have been really busy lately. Colt enjoyed a visit from Papa and Grandma Pam a couple of weeks ago. They took him to the zoo and he loved the geese the best I think. He also went to a petting zoo with a friend. I couldn't get him away from the goats! He wants to be on the lawn mower every minute that he is awake. He also must have a trailer on the lawn mower at all times! He is very particular, I wonder where he gets it!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter weekend. We went to Baldwin City, KS to ride the Easter train on Saturday morning. Colt LOVED it. We rode the train and then got off and had a Easter egg hunt. He wasn't too into the hunt, but he did get a few eggs. He really enjoyed the candy inside the eggs on our train ride back. The Easter Bunny was in the last passenger car and we got to walk back and see him. As you can see from the picture Colt did not like the Easter Bunny. We enjoyed a great Easter Sunday church service at a new church and look forward to going back. Colt was very well behaved, which surprised us. We had a good dinner and then the Easter Bunny left a few eggs in our lawn. Colt saw them and then said, "No I ride my tractor," and off he went to ride his tractor. He had no interest at all. Mike and I sure enjoyed the candy for him!
